About Heidi Salonia

Heidi Salonia is a classically trained singer who studies the Bel Canto style of singing. She most recently performed at The Wynmoor Theatre in the production of “Man of La Mancha” and in Dec. 2024 gave a special Christmas Eve performance at St. Mary’s in Delray Beach, Florida. In October of 2024, she was given "high praise" for her captivating performance as the “The Beggar Women” in Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street with Entr’Acte Theatrix. She had the honor to sing with “World Acclaimed Irish Tenor”, Emmet Cahill, on his U.S. Tour stop in West Palm Beach, FL where she joined Cahill in singing the famous “Libiamo” from Verdi’s opera La Traviata. Last holiday season, she was the soprano soloist in Handel’s “Messiah” and performed, “Rejoice Greatly, O Daughter of Zion” with The Robert Sharon Chorale.

In 2022, she won 1st place in the women’s opera/classical division of “The NATS Artist Awards Competition for Singers”. Heidi was selected to study at “The Fondation Bell’Art” as part of the Paris, France International Summer Session. She has had the pleasure to sing with Capitol Opera of South Florida for an original production in 2019. She is also a known guest soloist at many of South Florida’s Churches where she has sung repertoire from  Mozart, Handel, Fauré, Gounod, and Vivaldi. 

Prior to beginning her studies in vocal performance, she trained extensively in classical ballet at such schools as The New York Conservatory, Ballet Florida, and Boca Ballet Theatre. She has also guested and performed in regional Summerstock theatres in New Jersey as well as countless local theatre productions throughout South Florida.
